Significantly historic 15th century bridge, only 1 of 4 in England incorporating a chapel (a visit inside can be arranged by contacting the town hall or Norris Museum) providing peaceful and scenic views up and down the Great Ouse.
Truly beautiful historical town center of St Ives. Need to spend some time walking around the town to appreciate the historical buildings and lovely properties along the river. Plenty of parking area surrounding the town center which is great ! Truly a wonderful gem to discover on foot
The always beautiful, but usually quiet, River Great Ouse at flood stage.
This bridge is quite unique as it has a church built attached to it. It is one of only 4 in the country
The bridge offers a stunning view of Saint Ives!!! You can fully appreciate the Grand Ouse river, enjoy the small boats and rafters crossing by, and marvel at the company of geese and blue dragonfly. The bridge is banked by both sides with lovely cafeterias, bars, and restaurants.

1973. A bicycle ride with Jane Entwistle. That Summer, Great Britain's weather was the hottest on record in 20 years. The bike ride was glorious. Judith (lily-white) didn't want to go with us.
If you're in St ives a visit to the bridge is well worth going to. Also the nearby walk by the river is beautiful and picturesque.
The bridge itself dates back to the 15th century. It is one of only 4 bridges in …
